Youssef En-Nesyri set to leave Sevilla at the end of the season
His contract, which ends in 2025, shows no signs of being renewed.

SEVILLE — After four-and-a-half years with Sevilla that has seen Youssef En-Nesyri win two Europa League, an exit from Spain seems likely. Neither Sevilla nor En-Nesyri have shown intent to extend En-Nesyri’s contract, which expires in 2025.
The Moroccan striker has been linked with AC Milan and Al Hilal, both of whom want to take him in on a permanent transfer. Sources state that Sevilla would accept a $22 million offer.
The links follow a confrontation between En-Nesyri and Sevilla manager Quique Sánchez after the former was substituted out in a close game against Celta Vigo. Although both sides confirmed the rift was repaired in a discussion, the argument has pushed En-Nesyri closer and closer to an exit.
Milan’s interest in En-Nesyri is largely due to the impending exit of striker Olivier Giroud, who is rumored to join LAFC in the summer.
Sevilla’s financial woes have led them to put every player they have on the market. Last summer, Marca journalist Pedro Pablo Parrado revealed Sevilla had over $97 million in debt. It’s safe to say that in their efforts to avoid relegation, Sevilla has accumulated more debt.
PIF-funded Al Hilal is lurking in search of another high purchase in En-Nesyri, while West Ham, who need a player to rejuvenate the front line, also wants the Moroccan striker.
AC Milan, mentioned previously are also in the race for his services. Manchester United was a name that floated around in the winter transfer window, but a move at this point looks unlikely.
Sevilla has struggled a lot in the season. Despite returning from the previous season as Europa League champions, Sevilla is currently in 14th, just six points above relegation. Sevilla will need to solve its financial problems and become aggressive in the market to enjoy another successful season.
